Behavior Technician (BT) and Registered BT(RBT)

Join to apply for the Behavior Technician (BT) and Registered BT(RBT) role at Able Autism Therapy Services.

Able Autism Therapy Services is seeking ABA Therapists / Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) who will work under the supervision of a BCBA. BTs/RBTs are primarily responsible for the direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill acquisition and behavior reduction. They also collect data and provide support as needed. There is growth potential as RBT and BCaBA/BCBA with tuition assistance and CEU opportunities, along with supervision support.

Job Description, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
  • Minimum High School diploma and over 18 years old.
  • Implement treatment plans provided by the supervising BCBA.
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the clinical direction of a BCBA. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for executing all Plan of Actions (Skill Acquisition, maintenance, and mastered skills) developed by the supervising BCBA to ensure high-quality ABA services for each child.
  • Accurately collect skills and behavior data across all targeted intervention areas daily, as specified by the supervising BCBA.
  • Follow directions given by the supervising BCBA.
  • Provide behavior support at our center, in clients' homes (presence of a parent or guardian is mandatory), or in the community.
  • Complete all data sheets and progress notes in an organized manner daily.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by the BCBA or Center Manager promptly.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lift or move up to approximately 50 lbs, as some children may require lifting or moving, and to assume and maintain various postures such as bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Follow Able Autism Therapy Services policies and promote a safe, team-oriented environment for staff and clients.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards team members and clients.
  • Attend weekly meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Have reliable transportation.
