Job summary

Increasing Desired Behaviors seeks Behavioral Technicians to support children with autism in in-home, clinic, and school settings. BTs implement care plans, collect progress data, and help teach language, social, and daily living skills in a playful environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred), 2 years of childcare experience, reliability, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Experience with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is valued.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and valid driver’s license are needed.
• Ability to interact with children and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working with children who display behavior challenges.
• 2 years of childcare experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
• Provide support and guidance to clients and their families.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
