Maxim Healthcare in Torrance, CA is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism and developmental differences in home and community settings. You'll implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs and help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field; OR at least one year of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
Record session data and client progress.
Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field

1 year of experience in a related role (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Paraprofessional, etc.)
