Easterseals MORC in Michigan is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician in a full-time capacity. This role involves providing 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism, supporting their development of crucial life skills.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, possess a high school diploma, and have reliable transportation. You'll receive hands-on training and supervision by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and be integral in making a lasting impact in children's lives.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism in a primarily center‑based settings with occasional home‑based services as needed.
• Teach important life skills like communication, play, self‑help, and social skills using proven Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods.
• Work closely with an onsite BCBA who will provide hands‑on training, guidance, and real‑time support during your sessions.
• Collect data and document sessions accurately.
• Manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
• Participate in light cleaning and support children in daily routines (e.g., dressing, toileting, brushing teeth).
• *Please Note: This position requires working with a range of children who may exhibit challenging behaviors.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: High school diploma.
• Transportation: Must have reliable source of transportation and be willing and able to travel between different sites. We offer Mileage Reimbursements.
• Valid driver's license and proof of Auto insurance required.
• Preferred experience: Experience with autism and related disorders, experience working with children ages 0-16, and/or Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 40 lbs; sit in a child‑size chair or on the floor and quickly switch from sitting to standing; walk, jog, or run quickly.
