Job summary

Pine Health is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work in a school environment with students who have significant behavior challenges. You will support teachers, provide individualized attention, and help deliver instructional activities to promote academic, social, and emotional development.

The role involves one-on-one support, small group work, and collaboration with educators to implement IEP goals and behavior plans, fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere throughout the school

Responsibilities

  • Support Classroom Instruction
  • Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and resources
  • Facilitate small group or individual instruction under the direction of the teacher
  • Reinforce learning concepts through guided practice and activities
  • Student Assistance
  • Ability to Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs or learning difficulties
  • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments
  • Offer encouragement and positive reinforcement to promote student engagement and motivation
  • Behavioral Support
  • Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the teacher or BCBA
  • Help implement educational programs and IEP goals
  • Monitor student behavior and intervene to maintain a productive learning environment
  • Foster positive social interactions among students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to address the diverse needs of students
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and strategies for improvement
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as record-keeping, grading, and organizing instructional materials
  • Prepare and maintain classroom displays and bulletin boards
  • Help with the supervision of students during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional times

Job Details:

  • Monday- Friday (School Hours)
  • 6-7 hour shifts
  • Start Date: August 30,2026
  • End Date: June 16, 2027
