Job summary

SMART STEPS ABA LLC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities through evidence-based ABA techniques.

You will implement behavior plans, collect and analyze data, and work with families and clinicians to promote skill development, communication, and daily living abilities in a compassionate, professional setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience or training in behavioral therapy with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of ABA, special education strategies, and behavioral health principles.
  • Strong data collection skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work compassionately with individuals with autism or other disabilities while maintaining professionalism.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients' families and teams.
  • Proactive attitude toward patient assessment, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of licensed clinicians, using ABA techniques.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors during sessions to monitor progress.
