• Support clients with activities that promote skill development, communication, social interaction, and daily living skills tailored to their needs.
• Assist in conducting patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations to help develop effective treatment strategies.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to provide consistent care and reinforce therapeutic goals across environments.
• Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, patient care practices, and behavioral health protocols to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education strategies, and behavioral health principles.
• Strong data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress effectively.
• Ability to work compassionately with individuals with autism or other disabilities while maintaining professionalism.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams.
