Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, following ABA principles and supervision from Masters-level clinicians.

You will support families, participate in ongoing training, and pursue RBT certification within six weeks; paid training is provided. A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time roles, with opportunities for raises and promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BACB attestation for RBT considered.
• Preference for degree in Child Development or Psychology.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 6 weeks; paid training.
• Experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
• Reliable transportation to training and local center; punctuality.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to sit/kneel on the floor.
• Computer and tablet literacy; team player.

Responsibilities

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
• Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (as verified by resume, application,or BACB attestation for RBT certification)
• Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment(Soar will provide paid training)
  • RBT certification required for CO Springs location
• Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
• Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality isessential
• Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work on a team

• $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
