Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children ages 2–6 in our clinic, following ES DM and ABA standards. You will implement plans from Masters-level clinicians and collaborate closely with families to monitor progress.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, pursue a related degree if possible, and commit to obtaining RBT certification within six weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent (BACB attestation for RBT)
• Strong preference for enrollment/completion of a degree program (Child Development/ Psychology)
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks (paid training)
• RBT certification required for CO Springs location
• Experience with children and enjoyment working with children
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality essential
• Must meet physical requirements: sit/stand, lift up to 50 lbs, move/kneel, etc.
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work on a team

Our methods draw from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play‑based form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters‑level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
• Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up‑to‑date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification

• Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training)
• RBT certification required for CO Springs location
• Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
• Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential
• Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work on a team

• $21.50 - $28.50/year with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
