The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No is seeking a Behavior Technician for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The role involves supporting students positively, documenting their progress, and working flexibly in varying assignments. Educational experience is preferred but not mandatory.

POSITION TITLE: BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
START DATE: Beginning of 2026-27 school year.

SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $16.78 per hour.
The applicant must be able to relate to students in a positive and supportive manner, reinforce individual goals, and collect and document data on student progress on a variety of goals. The applicant will communicate progress to staff, remain flexible as assignments and students change daily, work in an environment without daily direct supervision, ask for help or direction when needed, and participate in training. Educational experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of a minimum of 32 semester credits leading to a Bachelor's degree, or passing the State of Idaho approved Parapro Assessment test.
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Public Employees Retirement are available to Classified employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position and to Certified employees with a 0.5 FTE or greater contract.
