Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Phoenix is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic. You will work under Masters-level clinicians to implement individualized intervention plans aligned with ABA principles.

This role offers paid RBT training, a guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week for full-time staff, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities to explore related fields in behavior analysis, psychology, and therapy. We value reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preference for degree studies in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment; paid training provided.
• RBT certification required for CO Springs location.
• Experience with children and enjoyment in working with kids.
• Reliable transportation to training and local center; punctuality is essential.
• Must meet physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs., sit/stand, etc.).
• Computer and tablet literacy; ability to work in a team.

As we strive to innovate and build a better model of care for kids, the role of the Behavior Technician or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) becomes paramount. Our methods draw from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
• Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (as verified by resume, application,or BACB attestation for RBT certification)
• Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment(Soar will provide paid training)
  • RBT certification required for CO Springs location
• Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
• Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality isessential
• Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work on a team

• $21.50 - $28.50/year with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
