Job summary

Northway Academy, a part of Sevita, provides center-based ABA services and invites applicants to join a mission-driven team in Mankato, MN. No prior ABA experience required as extensive training is offered, with a focus on compassion and helping others.

Shifts available Monday-Friday: Full-Time 9am-5pm; Part-Time 11am-5pm. Competitive pay and benefits for 32+ hrs/week. Dayforce Wallet for same-day pay. Growth opportunities in a growing field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master's degree in a mental health field.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and have 6,000 hours of paid/clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services.
• Level 2: enrolled in or hold a bachelor’s in related fields and/or associate’s degree with 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or 4,000 hours with diploma.

• Teach skills for communication, self-care, and social interaction.

Experience supporting a child or family member with autism is also valued. No prior ABA experience is required, we provide comprehensive training. All you need is compassion, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others.

Shifts Available (Monday-Friday)

Full-Time: 9am-5pm

Part-Time: 11am-5pm

What You’ll Do:

• Support children with autism through early intervention programs

Qualifications (must meet one * from Level 1 or Level 2 *):

Level 1 ($20-21/hr):

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master's degree in a mental health field

• Obtained a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and have 6,000 hours of paid/clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services

Level 2 ($18-19/hr):

• Enrolled in OR hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)

• Hold an associate's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy) and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)

• Possess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (equivalent to 2 years of full-time experience, including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)

• Fluent in a non-English speaking language or certified by a tribal nation
