Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis-based therapy in Lombard homes or community settings. The role is part-time, Monday through Friday, 4-6pm, with supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

You will collect data, support skill development, and maintain confidentiality in a client-centered program. Benefits may be available for part-time staff, and a valid driver’s license is preferred to visit clients’

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-driven programs for youth in homes or community settings
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals in home or community setting
• Work under supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
• Provide feedback on progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social skills and other goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Follow company policy and procedures
• Maintain client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes and/or a community environment
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with a developmental disability in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to Company Policy and Procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information

Qualifications

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification, preferred
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs
• Strong ability to use problem solving and critical thinking skills at all times
