Job summary

Lancaster City Schools is seeking a Behavior Technician for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with autism and related developmental disabilities in district settings.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for Ohio licensure and/or an aide permit, have at least one year direct experience with this population, a high school diploma, pass BCI/FBI checks, and hold a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Holds or is eligible to obtain full Ohio licensure and/or an Ohio aide permit
  • Has completed a minimum of one year of successful experience in working directly with children with autism and related developmental disabilities in a home, school, or clinical setting
  • High School Diploma required. Any college coursework in behavioral sciences, psychology, special education, human development, or a related field preferred
  • Possesses experience in providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols
  • Successful completion of BCI/FBI background checks
  • Possesses a valid Ohio driver's license
