Description
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This position reports to clinicians and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect data on observable client behavior.
- Implement treatment goals and objectives.
- Provide direct services alongside a team.
- Collaborate with clinicians to provide effective client services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and records.
- Regularly maintain client confidentiality.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certified Registered Behavioral Technician is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Comfortable working with medical documentation and records.
