Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At A Time care in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) or RBT to join our team. You will provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy across in-home, school, community, or center settings, under BCBA guidance, while documenting progress and collaborating with families.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and a supportive environment focused on client outcomes and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in various settings (in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center).
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document client progress data.
• Collaborate with families and team to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct in line with BACB guidelines.
• Continue professional development and stay compliant with standards.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $12 - $25/hour
• Full- or Part-Time Positions: Monday through Friday and weekends (optional and flexible)
• Location: Salisbury, MD

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
