Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. This in-home and community-based role provides ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

You will work under the supervision of a BCBA in a dynamic, patient-focused setting. The position offers full-time or part-time hours with afternoon shifts, in-person work in Newton, NH, and a competitive pay range of $19–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. Responsibilities

- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

- Collect data on client behavior during sessions

- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Skills

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism

- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
