Job summary

Behavioral Framework is seeking a Part-Time In Home Behavior Technician to support children with autism in their homes. You will implement individualized ABA plans developed by a BCBA and help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Typical shifts are 4-5 afternoons/evenings per week, 4-5 hours per day, with a starting pay of $23/hour and potential increases as you gain RBT certification and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (childcare, tutoring, teaching, coaching)
• High School or Equivalent Education
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy at the child’s home.

In Home Behavior Technician (Part-Time)

At Behavioral Framework, we help children and young adults (up to age 21) build communication, social, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy . As a Part-Time Behavior Technician , you'll work one-on-one with a child in their home, implementing personalized behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This role is ideal for individuals interested in psychology, education, social work, behavioral health, or working with children. No prior ABA experience is required - we provide free training and certification.

Our technicians typically work 4-5 afternoon/evening shifts per week with the same client for 4-5 hour sessions , building consistent relationships that help children make meaningful progress.

What You’ll Do

• Collecting session data and writing progress notes
• Collaborating with your BCBA and caregivers to support client development
• Engaging in play-based learning activities that build trust and skills

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (childcare, tutoring, teaching, coaching, etc.)
• High School or Equivalent Education
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have reliable transportation/Car - Bus and Uber are not considered reliable transportation.
• Access to a mobile device and ability to navigate technology platforms such as Zoom and Email
• Physically and actively able to participate in the implementation of all aspects of ABA therapy
• Must be able to assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, standing) in the course of working with children with developmental disabilities and severe behavior problems.
• Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
• Behavior Technicians are required to be available 4-5 weekdays between 3:00 p.m. and 9:0 p.m., working 4-5 hours per day within that window. Specific schedules are assigned based on client needs.
