Job summary

Pocatello/Chubbuck SD25 seeks a Behavior Technician to support students at Indian Hills Elementary. The position is 6.5 hours per day for nine months, with a start date ASAP. Job description

POSITION TITLE: BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: Indian Hills Elementary

POSTING DATE: October 17, 2025

CLOSING DATE: For best consideraton please apply by October 24, 2025. However, position will be open until filled.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 6.5 hours per day

DAYS: Nine month employment

SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $16.78 per hour

START DATE: As soon as possible.

JOB SUMMARY: The applicants need to be able to relate to students in a positive and supportive manner and to also reinforce the individual goals of the student. Must be able to collect and document data on student
progress on a variety of goals and to communicate that progress to staff. The applicant needs to be flexible as assignments and students will change sometimes on a daily basis. Must be able to work
in an environment without daily, direct supervision. The applicant needs to be willing to ask for help or direction when needed and must be willing to participate in training provided. Educational
experience is preferred but not required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a minimum of 32 semester credits that will lead to a Bachelors Degree OR must pass the state of Idaho approved Parapro
Assessment test.
