Job summary

Futures Community Support Services in Towanda, PA is seeking a Behavior Support Technician (BST) to provide direct and indirect services to support individuals and staff across programs. The BST will work with Program Specialists, Program Managers, and Direct Support Professionals to implement behavior support plans and maintain documentation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a valid driver’s license, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, or human services related field.
• Pass a background check.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of agency policies and ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance with 6100 and 6400 regulations along with updated ODP requirements.
• Provide opportunities for individuals to integrate and support them within their community.
• Provide support and problem-solving techniques to individuals, staff, and Futures clinical team.
• Responsible for medication administration; maintain Approved Medication Personnel Status.
