Job summary

Capital Region ESD 113 seeks a Teacher Associate to provide academic and behavioral support for students enrolled in the Olympic and Summit Academy programs. You will work directly with students who have challenging behaviors and support teachers with lesson assignments and planning.

The role requires following individualized behavior plans, collecting progress data, attending planning meetings, and coordinating with families and staff to ensure student progress and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with students with behavioral/social-emotional challenges is desired.
• Ability to support academic and behavioral goals under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a member of a student’s team to maintain consistency in behavior plan implementation.
• Assists students, individually or in small groups, with lesson assignments.
• Collects data from various sources to support behavior and academics planning.
• Collaborates with teachers, staff, families to improve student outcomes.
• Provides school-based curricular and classroom-based assessment support as directed.
