HOME CARE PREFERENCE LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a compassionate Behavior Support Specialist to empower individuals with IDD and autism through person-centered care and evidence-based strategies.

You will work with Behavior Analysts and a care team to implement plans, document progress, and promote independence, safety, and well-being in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Starting pay is $18/hour with licenses resulting in raises; in-person, flexible shifts available.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with IDD or autism preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Compassionate, patient and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and grooming following safety guidelines.
• Administer medications and provide first aid per policies.
• Implement behavior support strategies developed by the Behavior Analyst.
• Encourage independence, communication, and social development.
• Document services, observations, and progress with HIPAA compliance.
