Role Overview

Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and leaders to support students with intensive behavioral needs. Provide customized behavior support and utilize positive behavioral intervention. Play an essential role as part of a multidisciplinary team in delivering holistic guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Work with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Support behavior support plans and document incidents and progress.
  • Utilize positive behavioral strategies and support programs.
  • Implement de-escalation, crisis management, and physical intervention if necessary.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment encouraging social and behavioral development.
  • Collaborate with team members for differentiated support.
  • Participate in debriefings and communicate with parents.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; college or bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience with behavioral interventions in educational settings.
  • Emotional resilience and flexibility.
Salary Range

Starting from USD $65,000/year.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to respond physically to student needs, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a computer or tablet for extended periods.
  • Capacity to remain calm during demanding situations.
