Job summary
Community Autism Services (CAS) in Santa Barbara is seeking a Part‑Time Home & Community Behavior Technician. You will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in diverse settings under BCBA supervision, with a clear pathway to increasing hours toward a full-time role.
The role offers paid onboarding, ongoing supervision, paid RBT certification, tuition reimbursement, and regular coaching to build clinical skills and confidence. Opportunity to grow into full-time and other advanced roles within CAS.

As a Part‑Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development and positive behavior change‑while gradually building experience and hours toward a full‑time schedule if desired.

- Hourly Rate:$23.00 - $28.00/hour (based on education and experience)
- Prior ABA or behavioral health experience
- Higher education or relevant coursework
- Fluency in additional languages
- Advanced certifications or specialized training

- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to actively engage in child‑centered play and therapeutic activities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
- Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
- Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
- Comfort working across home, school, and community settings
- No prior ABA experience required - we train you
- Childcare or education (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional)
- College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields
- Mental health or human services roles
- Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience
