Your Role as a Behavior Consultant:
  • Behavioral Assessment & Support: Assess students' behavioral strengths and needs, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and oversee Positive Behavior Support Plans under supervision.
  • IEP & Intervention Implementation: Develop behavior goals for IEPs, monitor services, and collaborate with staff to ensure interventions align with student needs.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Establish data collection systems, analyze behavior data, and adjust strategies based on findings to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings, address student and family concerns, and work with staff to assess intervention effectiveness.
  • Safety & Compliance: Utilize crisis intervention techniques, follow safety protocols, maintain student confidentiality, and adhere to company policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of ABA, mental health, and therapeutic principles.
  • Previous experience with behavior intervention and emotional disturbance.
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs.
