Northeast Family Services is a premier mental health provider expanding to New York, seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to deliver in-home psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports for youths and families. You’ll work in a collaborative team dedicated to improving behavioral health outcomes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a valid driver’s license, access to high-speed internet, and preferably bilingual capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in home or community settings preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Access to high speed secured internet required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in clients' homes.
• Apply evidence-based practices to promote family strengths and youth behavioral health.

Our Behavior Support Specialists provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral health needs. We utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote a family's strengths!

Language Differential provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Hindi!

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field
• Bilingual preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Access to high speed secured internet required.

Hours/Compensation

• Full Time Salary: $40,000 - $50,000
• Fee for Service: $30-40/hour
