Job summary

Northeast Family Services is a premier mental health provider in New York seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to deliver psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in clients' homes, helping youth and families address behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

We close at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day — giving our team more time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer sunshine!

Our Behavior Support Specialists provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral health needs. We utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote a family's strengths!

Language Differential provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Hindi!

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field
• Bilingual preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Hours/Compensation

• Full Time Salary: $40,000 - $50,000
• Fee for Service: $25-$30 per hour
