Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college required.
  • Experience in an educational or behavioral setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies and educational technology.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal coaching and evidence-based support services to promote prosocial classroom behaviors and improved school engagement
  • Supervising and managing a classroom of students
  • Documenting attendance, participation, behavior, and student needs daily
  • Participating in student support team meetings and communicating student needs
  • Assisting with transitions, lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development
  • Performing other duties as assigned
