Job summary

Whiteville City Schools is seeking a part-time Behavior Support Assistant (BSA) to deliver evidence-based interventions for PRC 29 students, helping them stay in school and succeed in the classroom. The role includes planned, transition, and crisis support, with collaboration with teachers and EC administrators.

The position requires an Associate degree (preferred), strong communication, and the ability to monitor progress and implement strategies in various settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with students.
• Identify behaviors that are problematic.
• Explore interventions and observe students in various settings.
• Identify triggers and develop Social Skills Lessons.
• Provide classroom/individual management and support.
