Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one with an assigned student, implement behavior support plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency with IEP goals. Qualifications include a high school diploma; experience with behavioral interventions is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
