• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate or willingness to obtain; district will assist in obtaining certification.
• CPI training or willingness to complete training.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and skills.
• Ability to operate personal computer and educational software.
• Ability to work with students and teachers effectively.
• Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Two years of experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing for the instructional and behavior needs of students.
• Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, behavior management, and instruction.
• Work under the supervision of the Principal, Behavior Intervention Specialist, and Certified Teacher.
