Qualifications
Experience as a highly effective special education teacher.
Minimum of three years of successful experience as a classroom teacher.
Minimum of two years experience with ABA implementation.
Responsibilities
Assess, support and teach children with disabilities who exhibit behaviors that impede their overall progress.
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
Collaborate with IEP teams to address student needs.
Skills
Knowledge of human behavior and research based interventions to change behavior
Ability to conduct functional behavioral assessments
Skilled at positive and effective communication
Ability to work collaboratively with teams
Ability to train, motivate, and coach staff
Education
Master’s degree or above
GA Certification in Special Education (T-5 or above)
