Job summary

Haven Access Works LLC is seeking a compassionate Behavior Specialist to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in their homes and communities in Delaware County, PA. This per-diem role offers a clear path to full-time as your caseload grows, with hybrid work combining work from home tasks and in-community visits.

You will conduct FBAs, design Behavior Support Plans, train care teams, and track data to evolve plans while advocating for participants' rights.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, ABA or Gerontology.
• Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License (or eligible).
• Bachelor's degree with supervision under the Director of Behavior Supports.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Plan Design: Conduct FBAs and craft Behavior Support Plans.
• Team Collaboration & Education: Partner with families and care teams; train supporters.
• Direct Coaching & Implementation: Teach skills during home/community visits.
• Data Tracking & Plan Evolution: Collect data and update plans.
• Advocacy & Human Rights: Develop fading plans and present to Human Rights Committees when needed.
