Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support BCBA-led clinical teams in delivering behavioral interventions within group home settings in Ocean and Monmouth counties. The role involves data collection, service delivery, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for individuals served.

  • Training, oversight, and monitoring of direct support professionals with respect to behavioral support and therapeutic interactions.
  • Data collection and input into Excel database.
  • Input notes regarding behavioral services.
  • Provide specific hours of services per consumer per week.
  • Conduct observations and integrity assessments of BSP.

The Behavior Specialist reports directly to a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and provides clinical support to the group homes located in Ocean and Monmouth county.

Salary: $55,000 - $61,000

Qualifications
You'd make a great Behavior Specialist if you have:
  • Master's in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related fieldand Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually /Developmentally Disabled clients
  • Be 18 years of age or older (required).
  • Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
  • Have a valid non-provisional driver's license.
  • Solid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in presentations
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication experience
