Job summary

Benchmark Human Services seeks a Behavior Specialist to support adult clients in Albany, GA. This salaried, full-time role includes providing behavioral supports, data collection, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a group home setting.

You will document services, monitor progress, develop and implement behavior support plans, and participate in scheduled meetings and client care activities. A Master’s degree and BCBA pursuit are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.
• Actively pursuing BCBA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with behavior supports for IDD.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation of the behavioral services provided.
• Direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports.
• Maintain data collection on client skills and needs.
• Develop and implement BSP; consult after discharge.
• Attend agency meetings and client psychiatric appointments.
