Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in Albany, GA is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with adults with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The BCBA will work with an interdisciplinary team, manage behavior supports, and help clients gain independence.

The position offers flexible scheduling, thorough training, and a multidisciplinary team approach with opportunities to supervise and advance.

Qualifications

• BCBA preferred.
• Must be BCBA eligible and obtain certification within 2 years.
• Master’s degree in psychology, behavioral analysis, education, social work or related field.
• Minimum of 35 hours training and education in behavioral analysis and behavioral supports or BACB certification.
• At least two years' experience with behavioral supports for people with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation of the behavioral services provided.
• Monitor, assess, intervene, and train staff in behavioral supports and strategies.
• Maintain data collection on client skills and needs.
• Maintain program information and key data points.
• Ensure quality outcome data and complete functional assessments.
• Develop and implement BSP and supervise after discharge as needed.
• Coordinate with IDT, LSW Team Leader, and supervisor; adjust BSPs as required.
• Attend agency meetings and client psychiatric appointments as directed.
• Train direct support staff in implementing behavior support plans.
