Job summary

Crystal Springs in Assonet, MA is hiring a full-time Behavior Specialist to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities using evidence-based behavioral strategies.

In this role you will implement individualized behavior support plans, collect data, and help develop effective interventions across home, school, community, and clinic settings, enabling progress and greater independence for clients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with people with disabilities or in residential care.
• Experience with ABA, PBS, or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support in home, school, community, and clinic settings.

THE TYPE OF BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with people with special needs or in a residential care setting
• Experience with special needs, ABA, PBS, or Trauma-Informed Care
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

A degree or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred, along with a preference for candidates who are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
