Job summary

ABA SHINE seeks a Mid-Level Supervisor to lead and mentor Behavior Technicians in a proactive Behavior Respite Program. The role focuses on supervision, client engagement, and collecting BCBA fieldwork hours toward certification.

You will work with experienced BCBAs to develop proactive strategies, ensuring high-quality, structured support for families and clients in San Ramon and surrounding counties.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or Related Field.
• At least 2 years in programming, supervision, and ABA experience.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles & proactive strategies.
• Ability to train & mentor staff using BST method.
• Excellent communication & organizational skills.
• Ability to commute to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Train & mentor Behavior Technicians to implement proactive strategies.
• Supervise & oversee ABA antecedent-based intervention implementation.
• Ensure a structured, engaging respite experience for clients and families.
• Collect BCBA fieldwork hours with direct supervision toward BCBA certification.
• Develop proactive behavior plans with BCBAs focusing on antecedent-based interventions.
• Support families and caregivers with true relief and high-quality care.
• Maintain a balanced workload with minimal data collection and annual progress reports.
