Scoot Education is seeking paraprofessional and behavior interventionists to support students with special needs in San Diego. The role involves 1:1 and small group settings, building rapport, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Prior ABA experience and K-12 exposure are advantageous. CBEST, college credits, or degrees may be required depending on assignment. Compensation is hourly with benefits for long-term placements.

Qualifications

• ABA experience and strong understanding of behavior support strategies.
• Experience working with students with special needs in K-12 settings is preferred.
• CBEST or higher education credentials are required or advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Work with students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Build rapport and trust with children in your care.
• Foster a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed.
• Assist with various moderates to severe scenarios as needed (toileting, 1:1 care, non-verbal, aggressive behaviors).
