Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking a Paraprofessional & Behavior Interventionist to support students with special needs in Inland Empire, CA. This role involves 1:1 and small group settings, building rapport, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting lead educators and handling various scenarios in the classroom. Training opportunities and 1:1 guidance are available, with pay tied to certification and assignment.

Qualifications

• College credits, Associate’s Degree, Bachelors Degree or CBEST.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care.
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed.
• Assist with various mod to severe scenarios as needed.
