Job summary

Bales Elementary School District - Buckeye, Arizona is seeking a TOSA - Behavior Specialist to deliver intensive Tier 3 behavior supports and intervention planning across campus. The role centers on modeling interventions, conducting assessments, and coordinating with families and external partners to promote student success in alignment with district expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (Special Education or related field preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in education, preferably with behavior intervention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and guide Behavior Intervention Plans and crisis response plans.
• Implement PTR model for individualized behavior interventions.
• Deliver direct services within general and special education settings.
• Provide staff training on behavior intervention, SEL, and de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with families, school teams, and external agencies to support student success.
