Job summary

The Jewish Board is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist, Level 1, to design, implement and monitor Behavior Management Programs in our facilities and community settings. You will collaborate with IDT, families, and providers to ensure consistent interventions and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include leading functional assessments, developing BSPs, and maintaining up-to-date records while traveling to IRAs, day programs, and communities as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in psychology/related field or BACB/NYS licensure.
• BACB certification or NYS licensure as applicable.
• Proven training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor Behavior Management Programs and BSPs.
• Train DSPs, families, and staff on behavior support strategies.
• Maintain a caseload of up to 35 individuals and provide coverage as needed.
• Ensure documentation and data collection are timely and accurate.
