Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years' experience in an instructional setting.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques.
• Familiarity with basic math, grammar, spelling and reading.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by reinforcing instruction to whole class, small groups and/or individual students.
• Verbal and physical assistance with adaptive equipment and activities of daily living.
• Administer first aid and monitor medical needs of students.
• Maintain records and collect data on student performance and behavior.
• Communicate progress and behavioral needs to teachers and staff with confidentiality.
• Supervise students during structured times and bus boarding.
