Job summary

New Haven is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians / Mental Health Technicians to support adolescent girls in a residential treatment setting in Spanish Fork, Utah. The role offers on-site, full-time or part-time hours with pay between $16.50 and $18.00 per hour.

You will work closely with therapists and clinical staff, facilitating daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming while modeling healthy lifestyle habits and coping strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handler’s Permit before first day of work is preferred or required in some settings.
• Must be 21 years or older, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Utah State background check is required.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months is requested.
• Food Handler’s Permit must be obtained before first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents.
• Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming.
• Support development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits.
• Maintain a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership.
• Use safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention skills when needed.

• Tue/Thu/Sat: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

You’ll provide hands‑on support through daily routines, group activities, coping skills, emotional regulation, and structured programming while working closely with therapists and clinical staff.
