Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Manager – SUD Treatment

Location: Concord, MA (NEW Facility!)

Schedule: Full-Time (Includes flexibility for evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed)

Pay Rate: 55,000-60,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Manager to oversee the BHT department at our new facility. This position is responsible for the supervision, scheduling, training, and ongoing development of the BHT team. The BHT Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional client care, staff support, and operational consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision, leadership, and mentorship to BHTs, BHT Leads, and BHT Supervisors
• Develop, maintain, and adjust staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and reduce unnecessary overtime
• Create and implement training programs and orientation for new and existing staff
• Monitor staff documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
• Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing and collaborating with HR on candidate selection
• Support disciplinary action processes and conduct staff performance evaluations
• Attend treatment team meetings, shift changes, and staff meetings as needed
• Monitor staff engagement, assist in crisis interventions, and ensure client safety
• Coordinate transportation and logistics for clients across the facility
• Track inventory and manage confiscated client belongings
• Communicate regularly with staff via verbal updates and written communication logs
• Complete all required training hours and maintain current certifications
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and facility operations
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Prior clinical and supervisory experience preferred
• Certifications: Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license required; strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
