Job summary

Lakeview Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support counselors and nursing staff in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings in Pensacola, FL. You will help clients with daily living activities, access resources, and document progress to support recovery and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, CPI training, and the ability to deliver integrated mental health and substance use services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CPR certification.
• Must pass CPI training.
• Must be able to provide integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services as required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work across behavioral health programs as needed.
• Must pass state/federal background screenings and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist counselors and nursing staff to support adults and children in various settings.
• Help clients complete activities of daily living and access resources.
• Monitor and document progress; ensure health, safety and well-being of clients.
• Implement interventions according to treatment plans.
