Job summary

Glade Run Lutheran Services in Beaver Falls, PA is seeking a Behavior Health Technician (BHT) to support children and families with intensive behavioral health services in home, community or school settings, collaborating with a treatment team.

Qualifications include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with required training, ABA or behavioral health experience, a valid driver’s license, and successful Crisis/Physical Intervention training; the agency offers benefits,

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with required agency training (40-hour RBT Task List)
• 2+ years of behavioral health or ABA experience or ABA-specific training
• BCaBA/RBTA/BCATH certifications or equivalent professional certification
• Access to technology to provide direct services and perform job functions
• Crisis/Physical Intervention training required; strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Flexible hours and ability to adjust to job requirements
• Eligible for PA clearances (State Police, Child Abuse History, FBI) and Act 168 forms

Responsibilities

• Be a participating member of the child and family treatment team
• Coordinate efforts with other treatment team members
• Communicate with youth and family with honesty and respect
• Maintain open supervision with Lead Clinician and Supervisors
• Complete and submit paperwork per agency expectations
• Implement interventions to develop daily living skills and behavior repertoires
• Meet agency productivity standards
