Job summary

CCRES Educational & Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to support students with behavioral disorders across school, home, and community settings in Montgomery County, PA. The role offers a starting pay of $23.50 per hour, progressing to $26.50 per hour (W2).

Responsibilities include behavior management, data collection, and documenting progress, with paid credentials and TB screening provided. High school diploma required; experience with children preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide assistance to students with behavior disorders in the school, home, and community setting based on medical needs of the client
  • Prompt interventions in the areas of: behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Behavior Analyst
  • Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Experience working with children - preferred

CREDENTIALS:

(Clearances current within 12 months)

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Human Services FBI
  • TB Screening (current within 3 months)
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
