Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings.

You will help build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills, guided by ABA-based strategies and individualized plans from clinical supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adolescents in youth-focused settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations.
• Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings.
• Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills.
• Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through our ABA training program.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems.
• Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Travel between client locations throughout the community.

About the Role: As a Behavior Health Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings. You'll help build communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and their families.

Schedule: Part-Time
Program: Intensive Behavioral Health Services
Compensation: Starting at $18+/hour (based on experience and credentials)

  • Childcare, Daycare, Teaching or educational settings, coaching or sports programs, summer camps, youth programs, Behavioral health or human services, mentoring or volunteer work with youth

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
