Job summary

Calo Programs is seeking Behavioral Health Associates (DSPs, Youth Care Workers, Residential Counselors) to support youth overcoming trauma at our Lake Ozark, MO location. This is a year-round, on-site role with overnight shifts and four-day work weeks, requiring weekend availability to help teens heal through structured care and experiential therapies.

We blend clinical care with activities like hiking, art, and yoga to foster resilience.

Qualifications

  • Must be compassionate and reliable to support youth overcoming trauma.
  • Background checks and physical required; 21+ years old.
  • Experience in residential care or with at-risk youth preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support youth with daily routines, hygiene, chores, and personal development.
  • Engage in group therapy and team-building activities.
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive environment.
  • Participate in on- and off-campus activities that promote healing and growth.
  • Implement treatment strategies alongside clinical teams.
  • Maintain professional boundaries while providing mentorship.

Shifts available: | Overnight Shift (8PM-6AM)Full-Time | On-Site | 4-Day Work Weeks | Weekend availability required

Calo Programs is hiring Behavior Health Associates, also known as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Youth Care Workers, Residential Counselors, or Behavioral Health Technicians, to support youth overcoming trauma and emotional challenges.

  • Ability to pass background checks and physical

  • Experience in residential care or with at-risk youth preferred (but not required)
